Maybank

Date: 07 December 2011
Time: 09:00:43 MYT
From: Jino Lim

Subject: Complaint and feedback

Hi card services,

Please kindly assist with the below complaint or forward this to the relevant department if necessary.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Card number:
Maybankard 2 Mastercard: xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx
Maybankard 2 AMEX: xxxx xxxxxx xxxxx

Name: Jino Lim (Lim Jinq Sien)
Identification number: xxxxxx-xx-xxxx

Background of complaint:
Back in 8th November, I put through my credit card application at Maybank Sri Petaling. As Cyberjaya is nearer to my work place, I prefer to collect my cards during my lunch time instead of traveling all the way to Sri Petaling.

When the credit cards were approved on 23th November, I rang the call centre for both cards to be redirected to Maybank Cyberjaya. I was informed that the redirection can be organized and I would receive call from the branch when the new cards arrived. I took the words in heart and was expecting a phone call for few days.

As you can see from your records, I made several more phone calls when I received no reply from the bank in regards to the cards collection. I spoke to at least 4 consultants already. Every consultant I spoke to first informed that the cards would be sent to Maybank Sri Petaling. When I mentioned my request for redirection, I was again assured that my request will be honoured and I would receive call from the branch.

Not really happy with the outcome, I visited Maybank Cyberjaya on 1st December to check on the cards. I was duly informed by the staff in customer service that there was no card delivered to Maybank Cyberjaya. The staff also hinted that it may take up to 4 weeks to deliver a card and the branch will call customer to inform the cards collection. I left the branch in disappointment.

Impatience for the cards, I made another phone call to the call centre on 6th December. This time, it was confirmed that the cards were ready for collection. However, I find it intriguing to learn that after numerous phone calls made, my cards were never redirected to Maybank Cyberjaya. As much as I wish the cards to be redirected another time, I was totally numb with the empty promises. Moreover, it may take more weeks to organize cards redirection if I were not to collect them at Maybank Sri Petaling. Disappointed on the service delivery level, I screeched to Maybank Sri Petaling for my cards collection on the same day and wasted my time on the travel.

Upon looking at the envelop, the cards were delivered to Maybank Sri Petaling on 1st December, approximately 2 p.m.. The frustration derived from the incompetence to redirect the cards as per request. Secondly, there was certainly no attempt to contact me by the branch for cards collection.

The lack of follow up and service delivery level promised by Maybank had greatly impacted customers. I understand that the call centre can only read me whatever information on the screen and they will only forward my requests to relevant departments. This is a feedback to highlight my disappointment and experience with Maybank.

Expectation:
Imagine all the hassle and the experience endured for the Maybankard 2 Cards. Due to such inconvenience, I humbly request a compensation of at least RM 50 into the credit card account. You can contact me to discuss this incident further.

Contact:
I can be contacted on my mobile 016-xxxxxxx after 4.p.m. daily, or you can reply my email at lenard_xxxx@hotmail.com.

Thank you.

Regards,

Jino Lim (Lim Jinq Sien)

The above was my experience with Maybank credit cards recently. Attached in the post are the cash vouchers for McD!

Apparently Maybank is unaware of my dissatisfaction with McD. What a shame >.<

Newly added - Pizza Hut

Allow me to briefly outline my dining experience in one of the many Pizza Hut outlets.
________________________________________________________

Name: Jino Lim
Brand: Pizza Hut
State: Wilayah Persekutuan
Location: Sri Petaling
Date of Visit: 04/27/2011
Time of Visit: Dinner (6 pm to 9 pm)
Type of Visit: Dine In
Subject: Others - Customer Service
Detail:
To whom it may concern,

My main concern in writing this today is to channel my feedback on my dining experience as of above.

When I locked my car and dashed to your door, the sky was pouring so heavily that I can't help to be severely drenched. As I stepped into your restaurant, I noticed two of your staff were standing near the take-away counter. Perhaps the temperature was much colder inside that the staff fail to display the warmth and comfort I needed. Greetings, or at least a fake smile would do a bit of magic. Truth to be told, it didn't bother me, yet.

I climbed the stairs to the first floor where the dining area was. I was very sure 20 tables at the least were empty. Two staff were stationed at the cashier counter. My mum and I chose a table visible from all angles. I waved for their presence on the assumption that to cater to our orders and needs were their reasons there. Then one of the ladies at the counter walked towards my direction. When I was ready to place my order for the day, she walked pass my table and stopped to look out of the window pane. She returned to the counter and walked pass my table without looking at me or my mum.

Perhaps she did not notice my hand earlier. Both the ladies seemed to enjoy their chat and laughter at the counter. Instantly, I made my second wave. That time, I was confident that the same lady saw my signal because she looked at my direction for more than 5 seconds. To my surprise, she turned her head to her colleague and they burst out laughing.

Though not satisfied with the way they responded, I raised my hand again to attract their attention without losing my composure. The same lady, 'seemed' to understand my needs, walked to my direction. The difference was, this time there were menus in her hand. We knew what we wanted so a menu wouldn't make a difference. When I thought I saw hope, she changed her direction and placed the menus three tables away from ours. Let's not get hysterical, but the table was empty! She then returned to the counter.

To summarize the above, we were left unattended for more than 20 minutes. No menu were presented, let orders taken. Do you now understand the origin of my frustration?

In terms of customer service, this is rated poor offer of assistance. Not only the staff failed to display their professionalism, their ignorance has blinded their alertness and competence as well. I can comprehend that patience is needed during peak hours. However, such service was totally unexpected from a major restaurant such as Pizza Hut when there were only three out of 20 tables occupied.

If you are reading this today, I believe that my frustration has not fallen on deaf ears.

I may not be categorized as your loyal customer. However, as a patron who felt insulted for such incident to occur in the competitive industry, I hope that the management can look into this matter seriously not solely for the satisfaction of a customer, but your reputation as a leading pizza chain in the country as well.

After much disappointment, you will need tremendous improvement to regain my confidence in your brand. You do not want customers to pay 10% of their bills for service below satisfaction, don't you?

Feedback was forwarded around 10 p.m. the same day via official portal.

Surprisingly, someone rang the next morning. A short conversation took place at 11.37 a.m..

Nizam: Good morning. May I speak to Mr. Lim?
Jino: You're speaking to Jino Lim.
Nizam: Good morning, Mr. Lim. My name is Nizam, the manager of operation of Pizza Hut Klang Valley. You sent us a complaint that you were unhappy with the service at our branch in Sri Petaling, right?
Jino: Hi Nizam, how are you? Thank you so much for calling me back. Honestly I do not expect a response. Well, you have read my mail and that's what I experienced.
Nizam: First of all, Mr. Lim, I apologize for what you had through yesterday. We regret to have such event during your visit. I will relate this issue to the branch manager there and we will highlight the problems together. I assure you that disciplinary action will be taken against the staff on duty according to investigation result. We will also review our current training plan to ensure our staff are professionally educated.
Jino: I am not interested on your course of action, nor am I looking for compensation from your end. All I hope is the issue in the feedback to be looked after. No one will enjoy this, not with their growling stomachs. In my opinion, customer service is as equally important as your products. Worry not., Nizam. You may lose me as a customer today. But I am confident that if you can boost your staff's work attitude, no doubt your business will move to a higher level.
Nizam: Thank you very much for your comment, Mr. Lim. We appreciate all your time and your feedback is compiled in database.
Jino: Thank you very much for replying. Have a nice day.

As a result of incompetent staff, Pizza Hut made an entry into my banned list. Now that McD and Pizza Hut are forbidden, I have more reasons to stay healthy.

McDonald's

On the way back home from Rawang, we paid a visit to McD drive-thru located near Zoo Negara. It was 6th of November, 1331 hours when we ordered McValue Nugget Meal and a cup of chocolate Sundae. We made a dash home without paying attention to the price till we checked the invoice later in the evening. Instead of RM 9.40, I paid additional RM 3.30 which was quite obviously a mistake.

For many reasons, I could not get back to the outlet immediately. I was well aware that my chance of getting back the money's so slim if I didn't inform them right away. Waited till 28th of November, again we decided to drop by at the same outlet to clarify the mistake. I get to speak to one of the staff, Ayu.

Ayu: Sir, ini staff masa key in dia tak letak value meal. Jadi harga sudah silap.
Jino: So can I have the remaining balance refunded?
Ayu: Tak boleh sir. Sebab ini resit sudah lama, you patut datang balik dan bagi tau kita.
Jino: It's not convenient to drive all the way back here for a few dollars. What do you think?
Ayu: Then kenapa you tak datang awal sikit? Sekarang sudah berapa minggu dah.
Jino: What makes you think that I pass by here everyday? I have work to do.
Ayu: Kalau macam tu at least sir you boleh call number ni dan kasi tau kita. Then boleh kita follow up.
Jino: So you cannot refund me the money?
Ayu: Cannot, sir. Sudah lama sangat ni. Kalau you datang balik hari tu kita boleh kasi balik duit tu.

Have you all already realized what's missing from the conversation?

Jino: I tell you what. The reason I am here to seek either one of the two. Firstly is the refund.
Ayu: Aha... aha...
Jino: I understand that it's my mistake for not checking the invoice before leaving. And you also have the right not to refund. But what I am looking forward the most in my visit today is a word of APOLOGY. Throughout the conversation I can feel that you put all the blame on me. I can't get refund 'coz I did not do this and that. It is not 3 dollars anymore. You have never put yourself in my shoes since there's no sorry from your end that makes me really disappointed. Despite a mistake made by your staff, there is no apology.
Ayu: So sorry sir.
Jino: No, you are not. No worry Ayu, you have not done any mistake. It's a customer who is not satisfied with the customer service you have provided and I will seek a channel to lodge a complain. And McDonald's has lost a small customer. Thank you.

It's hard to recall the conversation as dual languages were used but I tried my best. I've also notify McD this incident through their website in hope the management not only focus on products. Customer service is just as important! A gentle reminder: If you want your complains to be heard, speak to a manager instead.

No more McD for Jino.

Influenza A, anyone?

It is sad to learn that my baby at home succumbed to Influenza A, said the children specialist. To be on the safe side, similar test was done to his mum and brother who also suffer Influenza A-like illness. As expected, they have also caught up to Influenza A. Since I've never suspected him, I have been playing with the baby all the time. 2 days passed after the discovery yet I find no wrong with my health. There is no sign of prevalence but that does not guarantee anything. Chances are, the virus is still in its incubation period. Hence I made my first move in case misfortune takes place. My first move is to write my death will and it is stored in one of my treasure boxes. To be exact, is treasure box #3. If you happen to come across my death, kindly tell my family about the will ^^.

Labelled distrust and disappointment

It didn't occur to me that I will write again so soon. I usually write during my free time and definitely will not allow blogging to impede my thesis momentum. However today, as you can see, is an exception.

While everyone rushes back home either to sleep, eat, rest, online or whatever you can think of, I wish to spend my day as long as possible in the library. It is correct to say that the connection in library is faster than mine at home, but that's not relevant. It's my mum, and you can never go wrong by saying I am unhappy to go home.

On Monday morning before I left the house for class, she yelled for me and asked me to stay. Obediently I did.

Did you take my money?
No I did not.
I lost RM 500.
I didn't touch your money.
Did you take my money?
I answered you once and this is second. I did not.
Then who took the money?
I suggest you to ask him (my brother). He took your money many times already. This time may be the same?
She called him and I saw her relieved face right after the talk.
Yea he took the money.
Good. I am leaving.
Lend me your calculator. I want to update the book (own-made mini account book).
I took out my Casio fx-570MS and waited for her.
I am short of RM 100.
I helped her re-calculate and really... Short of RM 100.
Are you the one?
NO I DID NOT!

After few minutes of denial, I left the house and didn't take it seriously till I reach home in the evening. Her eyes, her speech and the environment has changed. I still remember the last time I saw these eyes very well 2 years ago. That night, we had some private talk and I was aware of what was it about before we started.

You steal the money.
Why do you not believe in what I said? Which part of NO do you not understand?
I know you well. You are the type of person who will spend all your money on entertainment and think of how to survive later.
You are the type of people who will resort to anything to get what you want.
You are like your dad.
You spend all money in one day and then borrow from other people the next day.
And right now you are accusing me on personality judgement?
I am not wrong. You stole once before and there will be second.
I admit I took your money once but I admited. This time I did not and it wasn't me!
Then who took the money?
He took your money countlessly and why are you not pointing your finger to him?
'Coz he does not steal.
He's not stealing for taking money out from your pocket, while I am stealing for taking out money from your pocket?
Do you think I will only steal RM 100 if I have the chance? I will take everything and left you nothing. That's what I call stealing.
That is how you will become in the future.
/speechless

We didn't spend much time talking because she already had a conclusion to begin with. The one closest to me at home, the one whom I thought understand me the most and the reason I am at home - turns out to know nothing about me. Little did I know that I am a materialistic in her eyes. Just how many times have I approach her for more cash? Just exactly how do you think I survive with RM 100 a month in KL? You blame me for the loss but have I ever blame you for the money I lost? A bolt of pain shot my heart and I ache all over.

I did what I do best - silent and keep things down.

Do you know? Sometimes as we speak, the more you say the worse the situation turns complicated. Especially people like me of no word. Just like those labels on bottles, when you fail to peel it off completely it leaves undo-able stains. Similarly, the more I want to talk off, the more doubts I am planting. When the bottle is distrustfully labelled, I bottle up my thought and never open this bottle again 'coz I don't not know what kind of explosion it can potentially cause. Bottling up is unhealthy, but making a fuss to tell the world? To me is absurd yet this is exactly what I am doing. This is a family problem that I never want to share but it's here. Shameful. She'll never listen to me, and I never want to explain. It's a misfortune incident like this happens. 家贼难防. And pointing fingers is not my style.

While there are still room for interrogation after an arrest, she conveniently sent the innocence to prison, leaving poor prisoner no right to defend.

This home will not be the same again. Time has return to exactly 2 years ago when I first came out to my mum of my sexuality. Like it or not, currently we are not in talking term again. I lost the last ground I can stand at home.

I fully understand what's done is done and cannot be undone. When it's about dignity, pride and morality, I am very sad when the assets I am proud of are challenged and doubted. It's not a matter of who is right and who is wrong anymore. Has your bias and prejudice plagued your senses? Trust and honesty are powerless in front of money.

Sorry the post is a bit lengthy. But I request you not to touch on this topic again, ever. Emotion's swinging at the moment. 23 years but labelled in distrust and disappointment. She sent me off the thesis trail where, I landed on blogspot reading everyone's journal instead of sciencedirect.com. I have no home. I belong here.

A blow that changes more than expected

We had another blow on the first night of November last night of October. I wouldn’t be sure if it’s related but surely, I wasn’t the same after that.

I believe it was your first time seeing me cried this emotionally. What you saw previously was nothing compared to that night. Did I frighten you? Be at ease. At least you were by my side that night, you shared my pain. Crying alone was worse.

People might think that you are the faulty one every time I cry. The truth is I am the loser who cannot take the pain and started crying.

I couldn’t remember to what we did that night. Why did we broke into argument? Honestly speaking I could not remember a single shit. I tried hard to recall but… to no avail.

My life was dull over the week. There is no up, there is no down. I cannot express, ‘coz I do not know what to think. For the past 7 days my mind was blank. I can’t focus. I can’t concentrate. I can’t like. I can’t hate. I can’t lift my muscle to smile. I am not at all happy or sad. Worse, sex and 林宇中 do not arouse me anymore. Either my mind is emptied I can’t think of anything, or my mind is too congested that I fail to think. I am confused.

At any rate, I could not find the inspiration to turn myself normal. Who is 林宇中? Who are they? Who are you? Who am I? No longer a mirror reflects my image. This entry is what you can expect from me who cannot think at all. I am dirtying my own blog with parts of my lost memories. I look awful down in the pile of mud. I’ve lost my style. In the extreme, I am lost in my own world. Weird, huh?

I thought watching Bleach can heal me. I also thought that by listening 林宇中 from close range, I can actually regain myself. I thought changing my blog template can refresh my mind. But I never thought not only had those failed to cure me, they did not at all attract my attention. Slowly I felt the negative elements surrounding me. Fatigue. Cold. And bored.

Is it possible that Jino did not buy 林宇中’s new album? Do you believe Jino stops watching 林宇中’s drama? Why is Jino not looking forward to attend 林宇中’s little concert in Genting? Jino is not supporting 林宇中? How is that possible?

Simple to say, he is not Jino. He became someone. Someone who is not him.

Well? What now? Has that night really changed me? Is it true I cannot return to myself when I cannot remember anything? Does it indicate that I need to recall everything in order to see myself? So you’re saying that I need to go through all the troubles to find out the problems that clouded me? It’s funny to think that I need to walk the opposite way when everyone is trying to forget their problems. Or can I not face the truth that our relationship has problem and I am in denial?

I have not confirmed what changes me. Am I tired of our relationship? Or am I sick of my unprogressive FYP? I don’t know. I only know that I am not the same and you don’t like it. I don’t like myself either. Whether the change is significant or not is not up to me to decide. Has the night taken me so backward? I will wait for your return and find a solution to my zombie-like life. I hate myself dragging my life like this.

I cannot continue writing as everything is so random I cannot piece them together at the moment. At times, I rather become emo than emotionless I am currently facing. It sucks. I am tired. Very, very, very tired.

Financially upset

One of the reasons why I love internet so much is because it keeps me occupied all the time I want.

Every now and then I am haunted when I idle. Many a times when I thirst to online, the emptiness builds in me often screws. Negatively my mind is dreaded to the unsightful side of me. The sorrows I hide deeply can no longer kept hidden. Looking at my own pathetic look kills my own appetite. While others have at least a punching bag, I hate to not have other ways to express myself besides here.

Before I had my baby no. 1 aka this computer and Streamyx settled in my house (before 2005), there's a habit of writing my emotions and feelings on strips of paper and collecting them in a large envelop. If it isn't mum who found the envelop in the stash of old cupboard, I would never notice its existence anymore.

I break into smiles when I read the strips, not because there are funny stories or embarrassing moments printed on them. I laugh at my innocence, probably nuisance when I was young. On how my brother framed me on the broken vase. On the sounding sessions in FKL Scouts. On my depression when I scored only 60% for my History paper in Form 3. I hate to recall myself being this childish in my teenager years but those were not something I can forget easily.

Of the 287 strips, there is a common problem I always grunt about. It's regarding my financial status. In Form 1 and 2, my pocket money was RM 30 a month. Back then, yumcha and movies were not popular as currently they are. My student life was pretty flat. I barely used a single cent in school, so I saved a lot in my Dragonball bank during the years. The unrest began when I reached Form 3. There was an increase to RM 100 a month because I need to stay back for scouts. At this stage I found myself rather hard to survive. Under influence of Starcraft and Warcraft with Mok and his gangs, RM 100 was not enough for daily cyber cafes. To think that I skipped my meals for games, obviously I was addicted.

"8th August (2004) - My pocket money left RM 30. Overnight in Ezone for 2 nights cost me RM 30. I can only go Ezone 1 more time" - one of the strips. You can clearly see where all my money went to.

I never imagine myself spending so much time and money for games. I hardly eat and drink just to satisfy my lust for Ragnarok coupons and bot my High Wizard. I became so poor that I was grateful with just plain rice and curry for RM 1 at Petaling Street before my tuition. I can't believe I was that crazy. Only if I was a bit more impervious.

The grievances I am airing may sound ridiculous. Despite the economic turmoils, my pocket money remains the same. Entertainment has been growing vastly. Unlike 8 years ago we have have Midvalley, GSC, bowling, cafes and sex (oops) ahead of us. With the currency value plummeting, there were times I asked for increment but was never bothered by my parents. I am close to fit the definition of financial crisis.

Don't mock me wei. RM 100 a weak is it?
Why would I do that? It's RM 100 a month.
WTF? What are you going to eat?
Generally I have RM 3 to spend a day. I had McD yesterday with you so I will have 'north-west wind' for today.
WTF? Why so kelian?
That's the life I'm going through.

That's just a part of my lies. The real story should be:

Generally I have RM 100 a month, about RM 3 a day. But if I deduct my Streamyx and Digi bills which mounts to RM 92.50, I have only RM 7.50 to survive on in a month. Practically I don't even have sufficient income to feed on cucumbers everyday.

Have you sit down and think of what to have for lunch with only 10 cents in wallet?
"Drink more water till my bladder burst" is all I can think of.

Have you hold your growling belly and say thousand times "I am not hungry"?
I always do.

Have you been in situation where you can only afford to watch them on table pool because you are short of 3 bucks?
"Ceh the game's boring" is all I can say.

"Tomorrow Chiau Thong is chasing me again for class fund. What am I gonna do?"

I need more money.
I have given you just good to eat but you spend them on non essentials such as internet and phone.

My mum said that. Do you see the difficulties to plea for an increment? There is no resist in her offer, so to avoid further constraint. Never mind her. Be happy with what you have and think hard how to live. Trying hard to be positive here.

Hei. That friend hor, she did some rebonding and colouring. Cost her RM 700++
*I vomit electric

There's sales in Padini, so I buy 2 shirts at RM 99.
Woah, great. *Looking at my RM 15 CNY shirt from Carrefour

Don't step on my shoes! It's RM 200!!!
Sorry my RM 49.90 after 50% discount shoes does not know the price.

Buy shoes again? You have 2 pairs already.
The old one was broken.
But it wasn't 3 months yet.
So? I walk a lot.
Don't you think you should save up and stop buying so much?
This is a pair of good shoes!
...

Mum may I have RM 20 to buy 3 pairs of socks?
Why? There're RM 10 for 5 pairs at pasar malam.
Fine I don't need you.

These pens and notepad are RM 7 altogether. Can I claim from you?
I will deduct from your debt.

I want to buy some shirts.
It's not CNY yet.
I just feel like it.
...

I want a platinum ring.
Go buy it yourself.
Aren't you giving me one?
You have to wait till next month if you are accepting a stainless steel ring.
I don't care. I am buying.
Go ahead.
*Argument

Let's watch Meatballs.
I have no money.
I don't care.
Then watch yourself.
OK. FINE! I AM WATCHING WITH OTHERS!
*Another argument

What happen to our plan to save RM 50 every month?
I don't have money to save.
Do you know that saving is very important? Bla bla bla...
I know but I don't have anything to save.
You really don't understand the importance of saving.
Yea yea...
*Pissed off and super argument

Shit, we lost our direction and now we're trapped in the jam. Petrol's running low too.
Good. I can see you longer.
I KNOW YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR PETROL, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO WASTE IT THIS WAY!
*Super duper argument

Testing... testing... Trying MMS with my new phone.
Sorry bro I sold my phone. Now I am using Nokia 1600, the cheapest phone in market without MMS.

Why do you take 7 copies of theSun?
For old newspaper. My side income.
Really?
Abo?

Why do you always drink ais kosong?
It's my favourite drink. I love the tasteless taste.
I hope you are right.
Me too.

How much angpao did aunty from Thai gave you?
RM 50.
Too much. Give me that. We have to return the same to her son.
>.<.

My school pants are tearing and loosening. Are we getting a new one?
You only have 2 more years to go. Bear with it.
I am 29" but the pants is 32" already.

Believe it or not, these are what I always have in mind, just to name a few. I withdraw my coins from Dragonball bank in desperation, risk some laughs and teases by friends. Imagine paying RM 6.25 McD with 63 10 cents coins. Or paying a tube of lubricant and a box of condom with 118 10 cents coins? I would as well like to avoid this but it's my desperate time for money. They didn't understand my situation, and I am fine with it. It's only fair to blame myself for being useless. All I ask is to stop sharing shreds of sympathy. I don't need sympathy. And don't laugh! Dragonball bank is my last resort. The last coin was spent on Genting trip last month already. Isn't it easy to predict my condition is equally bad as someone left in desert; vulnerable and soon to die.

Either way, I never blame my parents for the tough luck on pocket money as I fully aware the differences in my background with others. The weight of one cannot compare to that of the family. That is also the reason why I washed me hands off the issue. In another words, I am trained not to waste. Every cent counts. It is this that I believe I will grow stronger.

Sadly, I fell lonely and empty whenever I am financially burdened. I do not want to spend my entertainment on my parents money. Or any other's money. Should my life is coloured by other means, I can never see my self-satisfaction fulfilled. To escape the jealousy when looking at other people, it is done by my hands, my own effort.

Now do you understand why I wanted to work so badly?
Do you learn to why I claim RM 100 when the parking is only RM 50?
Do you now know why all your birthday, anniversary and Valentines presents are made out of worthless reusable materials?
Do you now understand why I always reject yumcha and movies and karaoke?
Do you now forgive me for 'stealing' my PTPTN for Langkawi?
Do you comprehend my kiamsiapness and calculative-like-aunty attitude?

It's not my intention to hit you with tantrums. There's no issue here. I plainly write out before I completely lose this piece of memory. If you are wondering the capricious me, all because I am too idle at home without internet.

There's no telling what could happen next with only RM 2 in my wallet for 27 days. And my desire for 林宇中's new album on coming Saturday. Every fun comes with a price. That's the least I learn in my family. Maybe free meal with in-laws tomorrow?

p/s: I still hutang my mum RM 306. She is deducting RM 20 every month from my pocket money.

Sorry for another boring post.

Why did yesterday ended that way?

Friday. 3rd of July. Sunny. It's a day I long expected and another day of anxietily waited since month ago. If it's not because I miss you, I couldn't come out with other better reasons.

The day has finally come yet we carve dissatisfaction in our faces when our eyes meet. Many things take their seats along the way back home, including the 'Masupia' we're going to watch tomorrow leave us in despair.

And then I request something dangerous from you today. I know how dangerous it may sound to you, but it's your reaction I least expected. The way you reject me with mysterious secret worries me to hell. Is it my darkest fear of long distance relationship? What is it? You left me in questions.

Then, I finally understood.

Still?

I know that's a secret you're trying to protect for friends privacy. But I can't help to feel the distance between us is growing apart. Not just the distance to Kampar. You never do this to me. You will be the one to tell a lot of stories here and there which I don't have reason to feel interested with yet I listen all the time. 'Coz that way we don't quiet down. But at that moment... I go blank. I don't know how to react but keeping silent is my best resort I could come out with. The way you express 'it has nothing to do with us' evoke my quietness - so I will not tell you stories that are not related to us anymore.

I am sorry for the eagerness and curiosity to dig out the secret you wanted to protect so hard. I am sorry I took another sip of nicotine behind your back. I am sorry we're watching 'Masupia' today but not Transformer. I am sorry for the boring and frustrated wake up call every morning. I am sorry for everything happen today.

Why must it be the day which supposedly happy, turned ugly?
____________________________________________________________________

Saturday. 4th of July. Sunny. I hope the mood is really as bright as the day is. You know what? After few hours of resting my mind rationalize and wake up fresh. Sorry for yesterday I was emo.

Well, we watch 'Masupia' today. Robots fighting robots. Great sound effects and animation but it lacks facial expression. Though the movie is not exactly of interest to me much, but the 12 hours we spent together in KL is the greatest amongst everything.

I always remind, that romantic season is over. But it's not hard to bring the feel back, especially when we are still loving and willing to sacrifice for each other, right? Why the ruckus of troubles when simple hang out will produce the same result? We do not need to have sumptuous meal. We do not need to give each other presents. Yet I love the way time is spent today very much 'coz it resurrects the feeling of our romantic season back 1 year ago.

My happiness today is beyond description. We have not specifically or specially done anything yet I feel satisfied and overjoy. And finally you submit to my dangerous request. Thanks for everything and I appreciate what you've done for me. I promise to cherish the moment we have as long as I live. Oh, and cintaku bukan di atas kertas~
____________________________________________________________________

On and off, we quarrel and I am quite sad for that. But if I can positively twist the thought, it might be another channel of communication to bridge us nearer.

I don't want to lose you and no... it's not a responsibility but an honour for me to uphold.

How glad can I be more, that our day was unlike yesterday which ended in mishap.

12th June - She knows

Today is the last day to settle my tuition bill. And finally I did it. My darkest fear has finally come. Guess what happens?

Yup she knows. She already knows. She finds out I spent on PTPTN to Langkawi.
How dare you?
That's stealing.

Do you lend money to your friends?
They are cheaters.
They won't pay back.

I trust you as my son and this is what you do?

I'm very disappointed.
You're using your future money.
You need to pay, know that?

I don't trust you anymore.
Says she, my mum.

Oh yea? Deplorable. I simply stole my OWN PTPTN money. How unpleasant.

Who's willing to come forth and settle my resentment?

Waitingly Wasteful

During this difficult time, as everyone else, I am looking at my expenses and trying to figure out where to trim unnecessary items. The biggest item on the list yet the most urgent one will be my student bill and car park fees.

This logo sends me the biggest bill every few months.

The main attraction for UTAR students like me every eve of new January semester is the battle to win a car park space within the university compound. It is the dream for every student who drives own mean of transportation, given it car, motorcycle, helicopter, bicycle or even a trishaw.

Strategies being planned even months before the event to ensure chances of success is not lower than 100%, to queue up as early as 12 p.m. is included in the strategies. Although I wasn't involved in planning, I was kindly invited to execute the plan as a group of six. The group expanded unexpectedly to 7 (Pneumonia gang + Chang Hoong + Bui Bui housemate 卢广仲)

The Department of Student Affairs (DSA) will distribute application forms to the first 150 applicants on 12th January, 12 a.m. Anyone after the 150 will be listed in waiting list. Up to this point everything sounds good.

Following the plan as discreetly possible, we started queuing at 3 p.m. 11th January 2009. Although we were not the first, we were definitely in the success range. Rain and winds are nothing but minute challenge to our sheer determination "NO MORE TBR PARKING" and "NO MORE SAMAN".

With the cooperation from Security Department, when the clock ticked 45 minutes past 5, when the rain finally stopped its course, numbers were given out accordingly to everyone who was queuing. The first person roared in joy, louder than any cheers by Olympic gold medalists. Can't describe any closer to the feeling just by words. I was number 18, a number claimed as a lucky number for any Chinese, but not me in particular. Numbers given out were to avoid queue cutting, to allow more flexible activities: eg - we can have dinner or go home first instead of waiting duly till midnight (which is rather time wasting, totally agree). Of 'coz the new implemented scheme was another cheer for the management.

What does it indicate from this point? Everyone within 150 seems to have their parking space guaranteed. The 150s were in enjoyment and congratulations thrown over at each other. The post 150s were to have writen down names on the list reluctantly.

It makes sense, don't you think? We got the numbers 'coz we were early. The post 150s were disappointed 'coz they were much later than us who planned ahead. Rather, we are a bit kiasu...

Holding the definite victory in our grasp, our group celebrated in 2 on 2 pool table games. Never had it came in mind the joyous victory did not last longer than 4 hours.

Rumours spread fast as anthrax and SARS used to be. We were notified of the possibilities from celebrating at victorious party turn to digging up a grave of our own. Celebration was brought to a halt, we sped back to origin of the rumours. UTAR.

Many cars and people flocked the same spot and in no time the whole area was overpopulated in very disorder patterns. Status being updated not only from security guards but also from other students from time to time.

Allow me to use these words to describe my feeling, my group members feeling, and all other 143 people's feeling at that night, where the victory was overturned, the crown of the throne was snatched by coup.

Let me introduce the two parents who either want to fuck or kena fuck badly. Mr (A) Moustache Niapet who desperately wants to kena diu by a dick or three. And Mrs (B) Jibet Singh Obasan who desperately wants to kena fuck by bitches. Its regretable that I don't have the camera with me that night otherwise I will show their animal faces here.

Mr (A) Moustache Niapet who desperately wants to kena diu by a dick or three said this. "THE FORMS ARE SUPPOSINGLY GIVEN OUT AT 12 SHARP! WHY ARE THE PEOPLE GIVEN NUMBERS WHEN THEY ARE NOT QUEUING?! THE NUMBERS ARE NONSENSE AND INVALID! RIDICULOUS! MY SON CAME AT 6 AND HE IS NOT GIVEN NUMBER AND SAYS HE IS NOT GETTING A FORM! THIS IS VERY UNFAIR! I EVEN MISSED MY DINNER JUST TO COME HERE! DON'T TREAT MY SON AS A CHILD! HE IS ADULT!"

Mrs (B) Jibet Singh Obasan who desperately wants to kena fuck by bitches said this: "ACCORDING TO WHAT IS STATED HERE (holding a paper with rules and regulations - sources unknown), WE MUST QUEUE TILL 12 OF JANUARY, 12 A.M. TO GET THE FORM! ALL OF THE SUDDEN THEY NOT QUEUING BUT THEY GOT THE FORMS! I WILL BRING THIS TO COURT AND TAKE LEGAL ACTIONS IF THIS IS CARRIED OUT THE UNPROPER WAY!"

Their statement greatly implored the utmost curses of the 150s eventhough we won the battle once, witnessed by the grace light of the full moon. Although there were only 2 bitchy, slutty, ass-holly mouths blathering their dissatisfaction, and we have more than 100+ mouths on another side, but numbers doesn't seem to play any role here.

The management later decided to hold on and postpone the application. Thanks to the coward management, they gave in to Mr (A) Moustache Niapet who desperately wants to kena diu by a dick or three and Mrs (B) Jibet Singh Obasan who desperately wants to kena fuck by bitches, the newly sworned-in "Presidents" of UTAR. The management did not stand on his ground and brushed aside the voices on us 150s.

UTAR deserves the right to make changes and amendments to the rules and regulations stated without prior notice. The fact that we 150s queued so much earlier than Mr (A) Moustache Niapet who desperately wants to kena diu by a dick or three's and Mrs (B) Jibet Singh Obasan who desperately wants to kena fuck by bitches's incompetent, kiasu kiasi gan ni na bu cry -babies cannot be denied. But the management clearly couldn't clear his head and easily gave in to the old fart's mouth x 2.

Mr (A) Moustache Niapet who desperately wants to kena diu by a dick or three and Mrs (B) Jibet Singh Obasan who desperately wants to kena fuck by bitches thought that they had helped upholding justice and tradition. These dummies had done nothing but raised the anger of all who played fair and square. And yet till this day the dummies are still succumbed to their very core stubborness and foolishness and rationale. They had disrupted the very flow of nature and keep on pelting accusations, causing chaos.

All of us paid the same amount of fees. What could ever make the 2 unfuckable mouths louder than 150s? Where's the first come first serve basis?

Just because a problem rose from 2 cibai and so hai Mr (A) Moustache Niapet who desperately wants to kena diu by a dick or three and Mrs (B) Jibet Singh Obasan who desperately wants to kena fuck by bitches, a meeting by the management were held the next day. I started to wonder if the brains in the meeting were enough to figure the unfairness they had treated the 150s? I guess the management was overpowered by these 2 fuckable mouths. This just shows how incompetent UTAR himself is.

The pressure asserted by 2 uncivilized cibai cao hai (sorry but using these words don't make me uncivilized) who couldn't understand or follow rules are greater than the weight of us 150s who played fair and square. The cry-babies who lost the game had their barbarian parents continued the game on behalf, scrapped of the rights of first come first serve. I wonder who are the cry-babies? I want to kill them and eat their livers (hope by doing this doesn't make me uncivilized).

The management never consider voices of students at any weight, just like any primary or secondary schools in Malaysia. Parents seem to have larger influence rather than the students. That's why UTAR student representative elected are just a puppet, no power, no say, no face. Sorry I know you are from Biomed. We're so different from any other universities.

If the DSA ever listen to the 150s on that night, I wouldn't have to email UTAR to show my dissatisfaction in handling this case. I am not sure if it ever reaches the right person. I think I had done my part.

As an adult, I really couldn't understand the mindsets of these old farts [Mr (A) Moustache Niapet who desperately wants to kena diu by a dick or three and Mrs (B) Jibet Singh Obasan who desperately wants to kena fuck by bitches], not more the spoilt brats belonged to the Mr (A) Moustache Niapet who desperately wants to kena diu by a dick or three and Mrs (B) Jibet Singh Obasan who desperately wants to kena fuck by bitches.

Perhaps, the services provided is proportional to the amount of money we paid every semester? Want good service? Go to HELP. Poor people? Shut up and study quietly, don't complain?

Up to this point, how does it sound to you?

If we are as kiasu kiasi as Singaporeans, like Mr (A) Moustache Niapet who desperately wants to kena diu by a dick or three and Mrs (B) Jibet Singh Obasan who desperately wants to kena fuck by bitches, if we stand still, grow roots on the queuing spot, these newly appointed UTAR "Presidents" can never accused us of playing foul way. Who is it to blame? Is it us 150s who are not kiasu enough?

The losers' parents = If I don't get what I want, none of you will!!!

But no definite confirmation has been made up to now. Maybe there's a slight chance the DSA heard our plea, who knows? Let's wait for DSA to open his mouth (I don't expect good news so easily). The parents had obviously gained sovereignty over the management, discarded the earlier result. They had won. 2 vs 150.

I don't hold any grudge against anyone, but if I know who're the spoilt brat gan ni na bu cao ci bai of Mr (A) Moustache Niapet who desperately wants to kena diu by a dick or three and Mrs (B) Jibet Singh Obasan who desperately wants to kena fuck by bitches, I will cement their car exhaust pipe for sure (I am sure this is a civilized way).

That's how my anticipated new semester opening being spoilt by Mr (A) Moustache Niapet who desperately wants to kena diu by a dick or three and Mrs (B) Jibet Singh Obasan who wants to kena fuck by bitches. They really need a good nice fuck, preferably dogs or pigs (families).

Hooray!!! Justice has prevailed!!! The losers lost and we victorious got our respective parking stickers... Boo losers. Now I can park in the uni compund, bye bye DBKL saman ^^... - edited and added 19 February 2009

28 Sept 2008 - Talking on the phone

After yum cha with friend near Leisure Mall, went back home around 12 am. While driving from conaught back home, I was talking on the phone, while driving. Without realizing, a police car was right next to me. Yes next to me side by side and they stopped my car. Oh shit. So unlucky. Arghhh!!! So automatically I took out my wallet, my IC and license for inspection.

Police : Mana pergi?
Me : Balik rumah. Sorry la bang emergency call dari mak...
Police : Kalau mau cakap pun, letak la kat tepi jalan dulu. Kasi IC lisen
Me : Nah...
Police : Woah sudah ada lisen 3 tahun masih boleh buat salah
Me : Ya lor. Bang kasi la chance, 1st timer ni...
Police : Saya memang mau kasi chance, tapi sekarang you buat salah. Saman sekali RM 300 tau, tak boleh buat rayuan.
Me : Saya tau saya tau, jadi jangan la saman
Police : Sekarang musim perayaan. Ops Sikap sedang jalan tau. U tak tgk tv ke?
Me : Saya baru saja habis exam mau pergi enjoy kejap jer. Tolong la bang (fake fake rayu)
Police : U kerja apa?
Me : Student lagi... Tolong la bang
Police : Then U sekolah mana?
Me : UTAR. Study Biochem (I don't know why I have to say Biochem lol)
Police : Bapak kerja apa?
Me : Dia ar. Kerja goreng goreng masak masak kat restoran (lie to him as a very poor person I am)
Police : So sekarang mau saman ke tak?
Me : Bang kasi la chance. (Taking out wallet), tak banyak tinggal ni (I mean cash)
Police : Tau tau, U student lagi bukannya kaya. Kalau saman sekali 300, U bukannya dapat bayar. Nanti bapak pun susah.
Me : Tau bang, jadi jangan la saman.
Police : Then kasi la berapa banyak U mau...
Me : Thank you bang (Gave him 20 bucks)
Police : Lain kali stop kat tepi baru cakap ya? Jangan cakap tepi kereta polis tau? Sudah besar ar belajar la ya hehehe...
Me : Ya ya ya thank you bang. Sudah tau (WTF!!!)

So we drove off, the police went the other side to hunt for more preys while I went back home. So I told my friend bout the story, and sleep. I was so stupid and blur for not realizing the existence of police car lol. On the same night I dreamt about a police giving me my exam's result in police station. So scary...

Bad day

17 July 2007, Tues - It is proven that this is a bad day for Jino. Yesterday, Mon 16 July don't know sleep at what time, doing report. Hope to wake up and another good day comes.

Wake up at 4, continue to do unfinished report. Ahah... 99% done. Then prepare to go uni. But when going to reach UTAR, I crashed into someone's car. Hmm? How I crashed? I don't like the word crash. I prefer the word knock. How I knocked? I don't know. It just happen suddenly. Haha. Not really a big deal. Just a Kelissa. Her car bumper drop, 'kemek' a bit only. Can settle with money. No sweat. But still, T.T

Very down at first, but ok already after few hours. After the classes, around 6 pm, went to pasar malam buy eggs near my house. After buying eggs, of course plan to go home. But on the way home, near my house, suddenly a cat jumped out out of nowhere. My conscious told me to 'elak'. What happen next? All my eggs fell down from the seat of my car, and all them were broken. Shattered. I went down from the car and noticed that the cat was dead, not moving, blood everywhere. Not everwhere actually, just that the 'usus' come out. OMG!!! Murderer Jino... Sadly, I buried the cat somewhere near my house, and I can see the 'kubur' every time I am in the computer room. Haha... Bad day, bad day…

Bad Day – Daniel Powter
Because you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day
You had a bad day

'Good' Thief

20 October 2006, our plan is to jog at Taman Komanwel and have breakfast at kopitiam.

21 October 2006, a fine Saturday morning starts the Deepavali. at 7, I fetched Wai Yin to Taman Komanwel. I parked my car near the taman, put my wallet and handphoneS into the drawer, while she hid her bag with jacket, locked the car and jog. After jogging, we walked around and decided to have some breakfast. So we headed to kopitiam. Right after I parked in front of kopitiam, I couldn't search my handphoneS. I wonder why... Then I checked my wallet, there's no money. I was shocked. I remember having RM 60++ in it, but why is it empty? Wai Yin checked hers as well. Empty wallet, and handphone's gone as well... what's left are IC and license. Nothing to do at kopitiam, we headed back to my house, grabbed more money and don't know why, we ended up in Wai Yin's house...

I went back home around 11 am. But I got invited for dinner at 5. Look at the time. Its 4.47 pm... time to go... What a great day, RM 70++ gone, 3 handphoneS gone. But this thief does not steal my IC and license. Good lord, less trouble. He is considerable, at least he locked my car after raiding my car. Malangnya... but what to do? Kena grumble by parents... Sienz....

*Note: Do not put leave any important belongings in your car. Especially wallet or handphones... Try to keep these things along with you...

When money plays its trick

8th April 2006, an unfortunate, costly event occurred. The RM 300.00 given by my mother which is supposed to be used wisely, is now gone, nowhere to be found. The large sum of money consist of my tuition fees, LRT fare and also my allowance. The RM 56.00 Amy gave me a day before that was lost as well. Without any idea of where I have put it, I searched every corner of my house. From drawers to cabinet to dust bin to refrigerator, the money is gone without leaving a single clue. I made an immediate report to my mother. She did help me find, but you should know what the result is.

I thought the money will reveal itself after a few days, just like my pen and eraser always do. Waiting anxiously for a week, it seemed that the money had disappeared. Initially I have no idea of what to do. My mother approached me and asked some questions which really hurt my feeling, even now. The questions were “Did you embezzle the money? I don’t understand where are the jig-saw puzzles, Starbucks, Streamyx bill come from?” Her questions stunned me for a moment. She suspected me, my darkest fear has come. She said I misused the money to pay back my friends whom I owned. I thought I am a loyal and trustworthy son, though sometimes I lied to her bout my homework and extra school holidays. Being torn apart by confusion and enragement, I do not want to explain myself (“Do not explain yourself”-Conrade during FRIM trip). I wish my parents or brother would have found the money rather than me. If not, I will face them with even extremely doubtful look.

12th April 2006 is the day when I think this problem must be solved at once. After planning a budget for April and May, I decided to withdraw 30% from my bank savings to cover up the money loss. This action disrupts my original plan to buy an mP3, spectacles and more jig-saw puzzles. The money does not worry me much, the relationship between me and my family does. After the incident during Chinese New Year, our relationship is quite bad. I do not want to point a finger to anyone, I do not want to think if there is any thief among us, I do not want to suspect anyone. I prefer to take this as my own carelessness, my own responsibility of failing to take care of my own properties, my own fault. And I swear not to simply place my money, I will not expose my money or valuable items to anyone. And I want to say sorry to Amy as well. I lost your money, but I had it replaced.
