Objectives
"Jino. What is your objective here? Do you work here to gain experience? Money? Part time while waiting for studies? To get promoted? Where do you see yourself in this company in the days to come?" asked my line-manager on my 5th day of answering calls.

"I have something in my mind but it's still too early to disclose. I need more time before I can take my stand. Give me 4 months and I will get back to you."

Certainly, I know what I want from this job. No doubt I will be there in 2 years. Wait till the right time comes and he will know my decision.

林宇中

It's not easy to forget a person one used to like. A special song dedicated to Nicholas Tang. Is he thinking what I am thinking (if he can understand)?

Investment
Imagine I have a habit to save MYR 1,000 every month. Besides spending on food and shopping, is there any suggestions on investment? The amount is very little, I understand. Maybe it's too early to talk about this. Yet I appreciate any recommendation that can put the money into good use.

Credit card
I see credit card in many good ways to improve quality of life and the convenience a card made of plastic provides. At the same time, I observe the hazardous sides of the card which have jeopardized many families. I can't help to wonder if I am sufficiently educated to handle the card. The application form has been filled in as I am seriously interested to obtain one. All that is left is the gut to submit the paper.

October
September is coming to an end. A wallet which can fit 3.5"X2.5" photo is perfect to grace the month.  Perhaps Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will do a fine job too.

  1. You won't know if you don't try. Get a friend on board to monitor your spending habit with the credit card if you are not sure.

  2. Use a Debit card first. That's my suggestions. It merely means that you're spending the money you have in hand instead of spending the money you've not got yet. It'll be a safer card.

    Just my 2 cents.

  3. dude, set the credit limit of ur credit card to very minimal. don't ever spend beyond ur earning ability. it is disasterous. anyway, i guess u can manage it very well from the past record of money spending.

Investment wise, there are many investment tools and products in the market ranging from low risk (eg. FD) to high risk (eg. share). It depends on ur personal requirement and risk profile. Saving is important before u can step into investment world.

    -my 2 cents-

  4. 1stly, if u want to invest, try ASN or u could get a property and rent it out. Try to get flats/apartments where there are unis nearby. Just make sure that u do ur homework 1st before agreeing to invest, read the business section of the paper.

2nd, I prefer to use Debit cos u don't have any debts to pay and can monitor the usage better.

Lastly, I thought u wanna get a watch?

  9. Debit cards is still fun for me, but I think for someone like me, credit card will be more fun!! But I don't trust myself, so I didn't get one.
Unless, someone sub one for me!! Haha!!

And anyway, why all the superiors will always ask that kinda question to the newly employed staffs? I hate that, I will always want to keep that answer to myself and surprise myself and everyone in the end...
