The poisonous Apple

Dear FY,

Ever since we had the Apple, the relationships fell apart. People interaction is alienated. The app brought major changes to our lifestyles. When the Apple was misused, we became distanced. We discussed the destructive effects the app had brought us, and decided to sweep it under the carpet, many times. It's even more devastating when we find the trusted partner using the app in secret.

Facebook is just mainstream these days, don't you think? How much time have we spent on browsing Facebook, just to realise we read the same feeds repeatedly? This is the thing that people will do even though they know it's pointless. It's no longer a platform to know friends. It's a space to attract attention.

As much as I hate Apple, I can't help to agree that free messaging is convenient. WhatsApp really saves me plenty of charges. WeChat... is too complicated I don't bother to reply most of the time. Line is here just to look pretty.

People hardly read blogs, let alone writing one. Honest be told, I love writing here. The attention I get is close to 0.

Yours truly,

Strangers off a gay man's phone

[Prestige of the Pantheon] is a big scam. Confidently I reloaded 90 diamonds and Madhead rewarded me with shit cards.

With disheartened heart we wondered in Night Market and stopped at one of the stalls. Our eyes were locked on the variety of choices; short but strong, long and convenient, medium and durable. Well they do not make much difference to me so I chose the cheapest one.

Do you have your phone?
Yes I do.
Bring your phone over. I will show you that the charger cable is working.
Handed over the phone.

It was too late to stop him.

The black screen the phone was activated and... I guess he was stunned with the wallpaper.

The guy in the phone is kinda cute. Agree?

Let's start the new year...

... with a quick selfie~

The new year starts with the price reduction of kangkung. Bravo Malaysia government!!! Our lives depend on kangkung!!! Very soon your kangkung scheme will replace our MYR currency.

Thailand is politically unstable at the moment but who knows what will happen in April? Hopefully every thing will be fine during Songkran. What're my targets in Songkran? I don't have to tell, do I?

Starting 2014, my job description has a drastic change which I doubt I can cope. From a normal customer service consultant I evolved into many other roles, mostly unwillingly. If I may say, I currently deal the tasks of a team manager cum trainer but the company pays me slightly higher than new hires who work here lesser than a month. When I say slightly it means SLIGHTLY higher than a new hire. Not to mention the pay cut starting 2014 in lieu with the company global standards lol. And then Malaysia government announced the price reduction of kangkung!!! Wow so much oh "help"!!!

I find life is so difficult, especially the iPhone 4 is constantly showing its tantrum. And then gym membership which I promised myself since 2012. Which is a better show off? A good body or a good phone? Dilemma.

Not that I have any financial difficulty I cannot afford both. I just find life is depressing at times. Just need someone to pat my back and give me encouragement to continue my life. Now I am done with my random rant. Signing off~

The return of the Apple

While you were gone for the past 4 days, I had been dead worried. You were no where to be found. I thought I have lost you, forever.

I can only reply on Wechat and Facebook messenger in cipet while you were away.

Just when I had decided to let you go, you showed me sign you appeared. Battery almost drained empty, 15 miss calls and 138 Whatsapp notification.

You saved me MYR 1699 and forget the Samsung Note 3.

Thanks for coming back.

久的不去,新的不来.

We may have pledged on many occasions and sweet talked on how "forever" we wanted to be with him. As selfish as humans are, we are never accountable for the words we spew especially when events turn out ugly.

Myself, inclusive.

I am sorry to slap and scold you in the past, yet you endured. I knew you had done your best and gave me everything you have, which I greatly appreciate. You have sacrificed many years of youth and you have minimal complaints. When our relationship became stagnant I immediately deliberated of a replacement, 'coz I was tired of you. You were unresponsive anyway. I choose to let go of you. You may think I am selfish, but you leave me no choice. We are better this way, aren't we?

The only parts of you I could retain were the 120gb and 160gb SATA hard disks.

Thank you for walking this journey together with me till the end. Farewell, my baby number 1.

Rest in peace: 15/11/2005 - 13/04/2012

Now that the old had gone, it's time to give this young chap a brief introduction.

Date of purchase: 13/04/2012

2) ASUS Mainboard AMD 64 AM3+ S938 M5A88-V EVO

Only after 2 weeks of welcoming him back home that I installed Windows 7, Microsoft Office and other necessary softwares. As a brand new desktop, he is too quiet, sometimes I don't know whether it's switched on or not.

Upgrade. Starvation. OT. FB.

Just about to blog something interesting and I accidentally clicked on blogger new interface. WTF? I seriously hate this new layout. It's so plain!

What's the interesting thing? Beat me, now that I am angry with this new interface I forgot what I wanted to write! Damn...

Anyway, most of you have not realized that my old Facebook was deactivated many months ago. Reason which I don't plan to share publicly, only few knew. Sorry and thanks. Things have changed in many ways as we moved on. After four months of disappearance, I returned to Facebook not because I cannot live without it. An agreement was signed. Such agreement would allow me to pierce my ears if I can return my Facebook to its former glory. There were many promises violated when I started this new account. Again I apologize to all involved. But let's not dwell in the past. If you are here and couldn't find my name in your Facebook, please click on the Facebook icon below the blog title and you will be led to where I reside. If you are interested, that is. No obligation.

Using Nokia 5800 XpressMusic for less than 5 months, the mobile is upgraded to iPhone 4 above. Truth be told, seeing one using iPhone on the street to be so common that I feel more superior to use Nokia 5800. At any rate, an iPhone as so zai's graduation gift isn't too much as long as it makes him happy. Which is mine? Guess and you shall be rewarded.

To buy two iPhones does not mean I am rich. Two iPhones in the given time is definitely inappropriate to the year end budget. If I calculated correctly, I will need to save at least RM 1,700 from this month to cover the iPhones and Taiwan expenses for two pax by next September. It sounds impossible but it's achievable - 'coz I am Jino. To achieve these, I need to carefully lessen GSC, Sushi Zanmai, petrol and condoms. To suffer slight starvation and constant overtime (OT) would hasten the process. I sound crazy but they worth my effort. Does that explain my fatigue and low sex drive?

An evolution of mobile phones

What can I say about this mobile?

It's a major upgrade.

It's a touch screen phone.

Initially, there were few issues with the phone to which had haunted me for nights. After a simple software update, problems were all solved. Speaking of software, I heard that this mobile can support grindr. Curiously, I downloaded the application but not knowing the installation steps can be frustrating.

Now that the new mobile has slashed my wallet dearly, my life next month is rather constricted. Poor me have to feed on cucumber for a month?

Paradoxical choices

Nothing is more repulsive than desperation for internet when Edwin finally terminated his Streamyx in the late December. Life without internet is hellish tough. And it is also appropriate to say that a replacement is urgently necessary since deadline for my thesis is quickly catching up.

Cut long story short. Among the available options, I thought DiGi offers the cheapest and the most considerable speed. Only after subscribing I realized that I was horribly mistaken.

Just to be fair, DiGi broadband offers super high speed connection. Unfortunately my area is not entitled for broadband yet thus I am limited to EDGE, the turtle-speed connection. My bad. Although the highest speed for EDGE is 236.8kbps, my connection never crosses 100kbps. Sometimes 4kbps. Sometimes 3kbps. Sometimes 10kbps. To load a page like Eric Takashi’s blog takes about 20 minutes, provided there is no disconnection.  Sign in MSN takes longer than expected, troubleshoots unresolved at certain times.

Moreover, every click counts. With the 3gb limit, the downloading statistic quickly touching the limit. As if I watch myself burning money to keep the bonfire alive for some warmness in the cold jungle.

That is also why I change my blog template to one simplistic - fewer images, less flashes and less loading time.

Because of this I’ve lost the very passion to read blogs I followed and bookmarked as well as blog hopping. When I want to leave a comment, either it takes 10 minutes to load the page, or is interrupted by disconnection. Then I have to start over again for the same result. Dulan.

The first thing I click on Firefox is my blog. Despite the adverse I am currently facing, checking out happy stories of their new relationship is really worth to wait for. Really, I feel delighted reading their blogs though the waiting time to leave comment can be annoying. Wish you all luck and keep it up. They give me hope that we too can return to how we began, even when our love has already aged to 2. I could not contain my excitement and dying to resurrect the romantic season. But how?

Choosing DiGi may be a bad move, but times are tough without internet. Should I switch? What to switch?

On an unrelated story, Edwin left to Kampar again.

I am leaving soon.
YES! That’s good.
Won’t you feel sad or something?
Why should I? It’s merdeka for me I would say.
*Turn his back on me*
*Hug him from his back*

We are again separated on a long distance relationship. While there are many reasons to be sad, I don't want him to look back and start missing KL. Why not cast a smile before he leaves? If I cannot control my emotion for this simple reason, he who is already heavy-heartened will not leave this place peacefully. The least I can do is to assure my happiness here without him physically. I don’t have to say it loud for him to know how much I miss him, right?

21st and 2nd birthday to him and him

December 03 2009

The temperature was a lot colder than it was outside where the sun was showering the drizzles.

It was his birthday and his birthday:

1. Edwin

Taken on 5th January 2008 in Sunway Pyramid

2. DSC T-2

Both boys celebrated their birthday in Sunway Pyramid, one of the memorable places where my life changes. Let the pictures do the talking, shall we?

Lunch in Subway

Tea time - XXL Crispy Chicken + Takoyaki

3D is never a good choice for a movie. Expensive and inconvenient.
I fell asleep from the spirit of past to the spirit of future.

Dinner was at Ole-Ole Bali, a sister restaurant of Bumbu Bali (Puchong).

Es Campur + Honeydew

Grilled Lamb Chop - ultra big portion!!!

Ole-Ole Trio - super big portion!!!

7th floor - just to show my new hair cut

Dinner was a guilty one 'coz we couldn't finish everything. We left 2 chicken wings and half piece of lamb untouched. Sadly, I don't have extra cash for cake after the meal. Other than that, we were very full and hope they had their superb, wallet bleeding day with me.

Thank you for coming back

Everything began when mum cleaned him on Friday afternoon. She took all her pleasure time to open up each and every component in the CPU so that she can clean them properly. It was her idea that the high-pitch, irritating noise of my computer came from the dust-accumulating fans. So, the CPU fans, power supply fan and motherboard fan were all vacuumed to clean.

I must admit she dealt with my baby no. 1 very diligently. But slowly, problems arose.

The first problem he put me on was Mozilla crash in my every attempt to start Restaurant City. In my first thought Mozilla needed some maintenance.

Not long after, Microsoft reported error and required me to shut down. Not just once but every 15 minutes interval.

Moving forward, more and more errors popped out. Examples are IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen and C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\SYMANT~1\VIRUSD~1\20031203.03 9\0000NAV~.TMP. Don't expect me to understand the alien language, do you? From the symptoms it didn't look like it was Mozilla behind the disease.

Since everything was related to Windows (from my own understanding and point of view), I assume some Windows corrupt thus I tried to format him and start all over again. Before I did, I bought a 160GB portable hard disk at Low Yat to back up my data. On the same Sunday I bought another 512 MB RAM for him under mum's request.

I was anticipating the newly formatted him along the way back home until I tried to format him. I'd never encountered such difficulties in formatting. What's your problem? Kana sai. Can you imagine how frustrating it is if you were trying to format your damn computer since 7 p.m., and you had not progressed an inch even when it was already 2 a.m.? He gave me a real headache 'coz he constantly showed sxs.dll error, led me into restarting him for countless times. I thought my method of formatting computer was wrong but I knew I was right. U lost count of how many times had I tried. Something definitely had to be wrong somewhere in him.

As a future biochemist or high potential toilet cleaner in some factories, I was unable to diagnose his illness. There's no instruction on my text books. Without a professional in computing, it sounds impossible to me. I tried to format the hard disk many times but the process never made it to Windows installation. At least I could still proceed with Windows installation but ended with failure.

The situation remained the same for 2 days. How to not feel sick? Sick of reading the sxs.dll error, my frustration level shot high that I couldn't contain my frustration anymore! I need you! BANG! That was the sound of my tight slap. Why do you have to treat me at time such as this? And instantly, he never allowed me to attempt on Windows installation.

OMG! What had I done? I shouldn't have slapped you. I should not hammer you head on. I am deeply regret for what I've done. Please forgive me?

But he never responded as how I wanted him to. Besides sxs.dll error, I received IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen error in occasion.

His absence for 2 days gave me a lot of troubles yet at the same time I learned to appreciate him as my great partner in life. No matter how you all look at him, the 3+ years old computer is my baby no. 1 I owned. No matter how eagerly my heart wanted to buy a new one, I would not take in my friends persuasion.

We had a good chat while cooling down. It was more to a monologue. Nothing much. Just some stories of our experience together when I first brought him home on 15 November 2005. On how hard I was earning money, serving dim sum to buy him. On how hard we were working hand in hand to complete the school magazine, we didn't sleep for almost 72 hours straight. On how we were suppose to complete all the reports and assignments, without you I cannot do a shit. On how much he was able to provide me entertainment when I was lonely. In that instance, I missed you so much and I wanted you back. I can get a better laptop but I wanted you the most. The most protruding feeling - please come back. Gently I kissed his body and shed my tears.

Lady luck did smile ^^.

While reading Instrumental notes on Monday evening I disassembled the components my mum cleaned the other day. The notes explained the components of UV/Vis spectrophotometer but did not discuss the components of computer. Carefully I reinstalled the motherboard fan, power supply, RAM and hard disks into their respective slots. I had the least expectation when I found out that the motherboard fan was loosely fixed.

I tried Windows installation again and to my surprise he responded to my command this time. Up to now, 20 hours had passed and there's no error message. There's no suitable word to describe my feeling now, as I can only say I LOVE YOU BABY NO. 1!!!

You really came back to me. Thank you.

Yea he is really silent now ^^.

Randomness before my leave (Part 1)

Related post:
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3

When I tried at home, my hope was not granted. I couldn't enter the windows page. Damn!!! It's like in the afternoon!!! Why can they operate my computer while I can't? What's going on? This computer is functional in Mok's and Kam Seng's houses, but not mine? WTF?

Very pissed off, I carried the computer to Low Yat and seeked some services from the technicians. I mean next day. As I waited, I hoped that my computer was hopeless and I wanted bad news so badly, so that I can buy a new computer replacing it. However, the news I got after 2 days stunned me again. "Takde masalah. Sgt baik. Takde hang. Bunyi bising pun takde. " "Huh? Are you sure?" The technician showed me everything, on and off for 5 times without problem. I scratched my head very hard and paid RM 30 for his service, went home in disappointment. I thought I saw green light to buying a new one.

Who knows, maybe this room was cursed? After Low Yat, I tried to switch him on at home, but I suffered the same problem, again! Stuck in motherboard's page!!! WTF you want? Scratched till my head bald thinking of this fucking computer. My neighbour offered help, but I couldn't see how he could help. I accepted with nothing but courtesy to not reject.

Miraculously my computer was back to normal in his house -.-. As if a new computer, 'coz the technician in Low Yat formatted my computer. WTF? I carried the computer back my house and tried it myself, but I wasn't lucky. It did not work!!! Why the fuck can he work in all places but not my house?

This time I checked everything, from head to toes to inner organs. I tested the monitor, cables, sockets, wire, everything. I even vacuumed his balls. After few rounds of carrying here and there, thousand punches and slaps along the way, I managed to switch on this damn computer, finally (once in hundreds).

Once a while it did not work as I expected, but now I found a way just good to switch it on, without fail so far. I use this method till now, when it does not work. How do I do it? Read carefully...
I use magic words before I switch it on. What're the words? "如果你不听话,我丢掉你!" which literally means 'If you do not obey, I will throw you away!"
Do I talk to my computer? Yes I do, if it works, why not? I know, threaten a computer sounds silly.

However, after the long story, I still cannot determine the real problem behind my misery. I can't fully trust him like how we used to be anymore, not when the problem is not solved permanently. I wish I can get my own laptop in near future but my mama won't agree easily. She won't, if he is younger than 10 years old. Even if I have a chance to own a new one, I won't throw this computer away. After all, he is my baby no. 1...

DiGi - Always the smarter choice?

Feel heartache for finishing up your credit although you'd just reloaded, let's say RM 30 an hour ago?
Imagine you have to plan your credit usage so wisely, that you are limiting your calling?
Feel your heart bleed whenever you need to pay for extensive amount of bill?

Yearning for that perfect plan tailor made for our mobile needs? Look no more! DIGI Postpaid lets you choose and enjoy different call plans, each specially formulated to amplify your mobile lifestyle by allowing you the flexibility to stay connected to what's truly important in life - your loved ones. - DIGI Postpaid

I didn't intend to do free advertising for DiGi, but "good things" must be shared. Let me share with you all the "happiness" moment I had with DiGi.

My average usage for a month is around RM 40 with strict discipline. If I don't watch my wallet carefully I might use up to RM 100 a month. But the worries were resolved 3 months ago (Nov 2008) when I subscribed for DiGi postpaid 1 Family as a supplementary line under my brother's as a principal. Why under my brother? If I were to subscribe as a principal myself, it's slightly costly that my wallet cannot afford to. Principal pays RM 50 while supplementary rate is RM 30. Now you see how RM 20 is important to me? Why not Maxis? Celcom? U mobile? I guess you can compare these brochures yourself.

Switching from prepaid to postpaid you need to have at least RM 50 balance, and activation of postpaid needs at least 3 working days.

The package sounds good and convinced me to switch from prepaid to postpaid. I thought I had my worries resolved... I really thought so, at first.

The confusion arose even before the first bill being issued. Being the supplementary line, my first bill stated RM 68.80 gave me a real shock. Let me show you how they derive the numbers.

First bill - (08/11/2008 - 07/12/2008):

MONTHLY FIXED CHARGES

1 Family (17/11/2008 - 07/12/2008)

RM 21.00 (period 21 days)

CALL CHARGES

Domestic Usage

RM 119.33 (??? since when I use so much)

OTHER CHARGES

Prepaid Credit/ Debit Transfer

RM -52.05 (I have this amount when I convert to postpaid)

Stamp Duty

RM 10.00

DISCOUNTS

1 Family - Max Usage 30

RM -30.00

GRAND TOTAL

RM 68.28

Service Tax

RM 5.52

Rebate Monthly Credit Card

RM -5.00 (using credit card to pay get RM 5 rebate)

TOTAL AMOUNT DUE

RM 68.80

As calls and calls being made to clarify matters concerned, the inefficient billing department and customer service gave me idiotic reply. It was due to system error that cause such amount being charged. Since when I use so much? I am very sure I never use more than RM 21 for the time given. And I am 100% sure I used less than RM 10!!!

The problem is of explained:
Supposingly the package I am using now gives privilages to the user for calling and sms-ing the principal and other supplementary users free of charge, anytime, anywhere. Yea it is supposingly this way. But due to system error (which only happens to me alone, not other millions of DiGi users), I was charged for calling supplementary users, causing extensive amount in my bill.

Since the bill was out, and there's nothing they can do (as if), they required me to pay the amount first while they seek into the solution.

As for myself, I made my own calculation. It was rather a headache one initially but I find ways through a simpler understanding... As long as you passed your mathematics in primary school, this isn't too hard.

My Own Calculation:

MONTHLY FIXED CHARGES

1 Family (17/11/2008 - 07/12/2008)

RM 21.00 (period 21 days)

CALL CHARGES

Domestic Usage

RM 119.33 ~10.00 (I am so confident I never use more than RM 21)

OTHER CHARGES

Prepaid Credit/ Debit Transfer

RM -52.05 (I have this amount when I convert to postpaid)

Stamp Duty

RM 10.00

DISCOUNTS

1 Family - Max Usage 30

RM -30.00 -21.00

GRAND TOTAL

RM 68.28 31.00

Service Tax

RM 5.52 1.05

Rebate Monthly Credit Card

RM -5.00 (no rebate for 1st bill coz I am not suppose to make payment)

TOTAL AMOUNT DUE

RM 68.80 -20.00

In fact DiGi are suppose to owe me RM 20. But to cooperate with them, I made advance payment of RM 68.80, waited for another month to see if my problem solved.

Yup. Along the time till the next bill issued, I called and called and double confirmed, perhaps tripled, to confirm the issue. As they mentioned, the problem was already solved on 18th December, and DiGi will recredit RM 81.52 to my account. After double confirmed triple confirmed, I can't rest easily as I know problem will rise again. If the problem was solved on 18th December, what will happen to the days before 17th? Have you solved it? Definitely not 'coz my next bill explained everything.

You see, from my initial balance RM 52.05 and the payment RM 68.80, deduct the proper usage of RM 32.05, DiGi should give me back RM 88.80 instead of RM 81.52. Where is my RM 7.28? Return my RM 7.28!!!

That's not all. After receiving the second bill I was shocked anotherly great. I was expecting something like RM -55.00, but the bill was never near that. It was RM -3.12!!! How did DiGi came to that amount? Let's be transparent and count now.

Second bill - (08/12/2008 - 07/01/2009):

MONTHLY FIXED CHARGES

1 Family (17/11/2008 - 07/12/2008)

RM 30.00

CALL CHARGES

Domestic Usage

RM 83.31 (??? again since when I use so much)

OTHER CHARGES

365.8.57.307.O Adj. Airtime Local - PCN-IMC

RM -81.52 (the amount DiGi agreed to refund)

DISCOUNTS

1 Family - Max Usage 30

RM -30.00

GRAND TOTAL

RM 1.79

Service Tax

RM 0.09

Rebate Monthly Credit Card

RM -5.00 (using credit card to pay get RM 5 rebate)

TOTAL AMOUNT DUE

RM -3.12

What really happened can only be understood if you see my itemised bill. I was still charged for making calls and sms-ing principal and supplementary users till 17th December. If you understand already, now you know how inefficient they are.

Can't you see that? DiGi is repeating the same mistakes!!! Not once but twice!!! What to do? Have to call DiGi customer service again. Thank god calling the customer service is free otherwise I will really boil up.

This is my own calculation for my second bill:

My Own Calculation:

MONTHLY FIXED CHARGES

1 Family (17/11/2008 - 07/12/2008)

RM 30.00

CALL CHARGES

Domestic Usage

RM 83.31 ~10.00 (I am very damn sure I never exceed RM 30)

OTHER CHARGES

365.8.57.307.O Adj. Airtime Local - PCN-IMC

RM -81.52 (the amount DiGi agreed to refund)

DISCOUNTS

1 Family - Max Usage 30

RM -30.00

GRAND TOTAL

RM 1.79 -51.52

Service Tax

RM 0.09 1.50

Rebate Monthly Credit Card

RM -5.00 (using credit card to pay get RM 5 rebate)

TOTAL AMOUNT DUE

RM -3.12 -55.02

The people from billing department replied me the day after I lodge the report. They replied with sms, that they will give me back RM 54.11. Firstly, they did not even bother to explain to me how they derive the amount, thinking that by sending me a stupid sms like that will put me quiet? Secondly you are suppose to give me back RM 55.02, not just RM 54.11! Short of RM 0.91. Plus the earlier RM 7.28, you cheated me RM 8.19!!! Give me back my money!!! Very dissatisfied!!!

And they can't even make amendment right away, excuses here and there. They made me pay in advance, burdening me financially again and again. I really want to talk to their customer service face to face, but I doubt it works 'coz DiGi will again blame others and push the responsible to each other. In the midst of economy crisis, with great competition from competitors, is this the kind of service that we get? In the mind thinking that DiGi has solved my mobile financial planning, it at all doesn't!!!

Can you imagine the line coverage bars on the phone screen drop from full to none when you make phone call? Only happens here, right in this computer room, when I answer or make any call, the coverage turns so badly the line is cut automatically. The line is not FULL!!! YOU FOOL!!! And they make a fool out of me!!!

See? From full bar to none

I am so speechless now. I don't know what to do. Although the third bill is normal (RM 26.50), I still feel unease.

In conclusion, to those who wish to convert to DiGi, think twice please. Other network might charge you higher, but you pay for their service. 一分钱一分货. DiGi is cheap, and very "cheap"... OK I admit, I am cheap... If there is someone to blame, blame myself for being a poor guy to not afford Maxis. If you ask me which is better, Maxis 'coz I like apple green. In other word, don't choose DiGi. If you insist choosing DiGi, disobeying my order, then go buck up your mathematical skills and equations, and sharpen your tongue... Act on your own account.

Baby No. 1

I am sorry my dear, I slapped you so hard.
I am sorry my dear, I didn't treat you nicer.
I am sorry my dear, I never try to understand you.
I am sorry my dear, I never treat you the way I should.
I am sorry my dear, I never buy you new clothes.
I am sorry my dear, I never bathe you cleaner than the rubbish bin.
I am sorry my dear, I never bring you to doctor even when you are sick.
I am sorry my dear, I never appreciate your sweat, till now.
I am sorry my dear, I never give you a proper house.

But no matter what happens, till the death sets us apart, I will never leave you (unless you leave me 1st). We had been together for 3 years. We worked together, play together, had fun together, study together. You are my acquaintance, my alter ego.

I am glad no matter how dreadful I treated you, you are always faithfully awaiting my return. Your return, is one of the best belated xmas present I could ever asked for. Without you, I am more to a bird without wings, a cow without horns, a lion without its mane, a zebra without stripes, an elephant without its trunk, or a man who's unable to shoot.

Please forgive me and thank you for keep standing by my side. Let's us walk the path, together, to the end.

*Baby no. 1, my computer (officially 3 years old on 13 November) was not functioning on his 3rd birthday. I thought he has finally reached his lifespan, and I planned to send him to computer shop for some services. Who knows after a month plus of staying coma, he has return. He came back functioning as normal. Really save my couple of bucks. he needs some services anyway. Who wants to help me had a look at him? I belanja ice kosong ^^*

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I would like to take this chance to wish these 2 Happy Birthday as they are my closest and bestest and greatest gift I could ever wish for...

We were celebrating in Look Out Point Ampang for Edwin's birthday 3rd December. It was a clear dark night without stars. We can clearly see countless lights that decorated the whole KL. So what if I celebrated his birthday? Any problem ar? Yes this is directed to you Heng Mok Piew. Ask you come along you don't want!!! Muahaha...

Happy 20th Birthday Edwin!!! (3rd Dec 08)

Then the next day was my baby no. 4's big day. He was with me for a year, serving me loyally and faithfully. So as encouragement for him to continue his service, I cleaned the screen nicely. There's no scratch mark on it's body, a solid evidence of my love to him. I promise to buy you extra battery as friend (before the battery run outdated).

Happy Birthday (4th Dec 2008) baby no. 4 - my camera

My camera, and me!!!

28 Sept 2008 - Talking on the phone

After yum cha with friend near Leisure Mall, went back home around 12 am. While driving from conaught back home, I was talking on the phone, while driving. Without realizing, a police car was right next to me. Yes next to me side by side and they stopped my car. Oh shit. So unlucky. Arghhh!!! So automatically I took out my wallet, my IC and license for inspection.

Police : Mana pergi?
Me : Balik rumah. Sorry la bang emergency call dari mak...
Police : Kalau mau cakap pun, letak la kat tepi jalan dulu. Kasi IC lisen
Me : Nah...
Police : Woah sudah ada lisen 3 tahun masih boleh buat salah
Me : Ya lor. Bang kasi la chance, 1st timer ni...
Police : Saya memang mau kasi chance, tapi sekarang you buat salah. Saman sekali RM 300 tau, tak boleh buat rayuan.
Me : Saya tau saya tau, jadi jangan la saman
Police : Sekarang musim perayaan. Ops Sikap sedang jalan tau. U tak tgk tv ke?
Me : Saya baru saja habis exam mau pergi enjoy kejap jer. Tolong la bang (fake fake rayu)
Police : U kerja apa?
Me : Student lagi... Tolong la bang
Police : Then U sekolah mana?
Me : UTAR. Study Biochem (I don't know why I have to say Biochem lol)
Police : Bapak kerja apa?
Me : Dia ar. Kerja goreng goreng masak masak kat restoran (lie to him as a very poor person I am)
Police : So sekarang mau saman ke tak?
Me : Bang kasi la chance. (Taking out wallet), tak banyak tinggal ni (I mean cash)
Police : Tau tau, U student lagi bukannya kaya. Kalau saman sekali 300, U bukannya dapat bayar. Nanti bapak pun susah.
Me : Tau bang, jadi jangan la saman.
Police : Then kasi la berapa banyak U mau...
Me : Thank you bang (Gave him 20 bucks)
Police : Lain kali stop kat tepi baru cakap ya? Jangan cakap tepi kereta polis tau? Sudah besar ar belajar la ya hehehe...
Me : Ya ya ya thank you bang. Sudah tau (WTF!!!)

So we drove off, the police went the other side to hunt for more preys while I went back home. So I told my friend bout the story, and sleep. I was so stupid and blur for not realizing the existence of police car lol. On the same night I dreamt about a police giving me my exam's result in police station. So scary...

New Handphone

Last weekend I was in one of the phone shop in Lowyat. I was looking for a phone, coz my old phone is kind of screw up. Anyway I need a back up phone as I start using Digi and Hotlink at the same time. I approach the dealer and here is our conversation (Chinese translated to English pasar):

[Jino] : Boss, how much is Nokia 2100 now?

dealer : What? 2100? Long time don't have liao la... No more no more.

[Jino] : Then, how bout 1600?

dealer : Har? Both oso no more liao de la. Why you looking for second hand is it?

[Jino] : No la, I want new set de. I like both the handphones. No more sell liao meh?

dealer : Long time ago putus jor la. How much is your budget leh?

[Jino] : Around 100 bucks got ma?

dealer : Put in 50 bucks more, buy this 1650 la. Cheap cheap. Back up phone lor.

Then he showed me the model. After checking awhile, it has very normal functions similar to my old 2100 except of the colour and radio and a few other useless features.

[Jino] : Boss, this normal phone why so expensive de?

dealer : New phone ma. Out this year oni de. New model. Very cheap already. You go next shop and see how much la.

And yea, a lot of friends recommend me this shop. So I kind to fond this shop.

[Jino] : Then boss I come back this Saturday ok ma?

dealer : You come back ok la. But come back here oh haha...

And on Saturday 06 September, I bought this phone without much thinking. I have no idea if it is a bit too high in price. For me it is an ok price. So there goes my RM 145, and welcome the new phone Nokia 1650. My 6 year old 2100 can retire now, although it is now used as Hotlink line.

However, after 1 day of using I found that it is very difficult to type and sms. The key pad is too small for my large fingers. And the display is kind of boring. Hope I can adapt to it soon. Sms is my life now...

A Wish Comes True - 04 Dec

04 Dec 2007 - The morning started with a bad stomach. The feeling was so bad, I couldn't stand it and I have to go the toilet twice during working hours. Due to that reason, I also took early leave. I really couldn't stand the pain. All because of the "sweet and sour" crab which is spicy I ate last night. And to be frank, I am very lazy to work today. Yesterday I worked from 8am to 10pm. So I pura-pura sakit and left early. This is the only privilege as a part-timer here; come come and go go.

After leaving office at 12pm, I received message from brother Terry. He was on his way back to KL, and will reach Puduraya soon. So, I waited for him, while asking the price and availability of bus tickets to Melaka for our class trip. In the end, I didn't ask about the tickets because he arrived earlier than I had expected.

So, we went to Public Bank to withdraw money. I withdrew RM 1000 (previously I withdrew RM 400 from Maybank). We bought Unrest movie tickets at GSC Pavilion. Then we had lunch together in Wong Kok Char Chan Teng, at the most economic set lunch. The movie started at 4.50pm. Unrest is just an average movie. And the seat for the movie is too big for me. Very hard for me to adjust to my suitable seating position. After movie we went to Sg Wang. He was looking for his Eternal Summer soundtrack cd, and placed booking for his Onitsuka Chihiro albums.

The main reason why I withdrew so much money earlier, was because of my new camera. On 8.33pm, I bought the new Sony Cybershot Album-T (T2). At normal rate RM 1399, topping up RM 100 for 3 years warranty, another pouch at discounted rate RM 30.10. So the total is RM 1529.10. Hmm... Actually we stayed at the Sony Centre for almost 30 minutes deciding if buying it was a wise choice or not. And as the result, you have already knew it. Blue colour represents the artistic side of my idol, so does the camera of mine.

I am so happy tonight that I don't think I can sleep well later. After this blog, I will try using my new camera. Another goal of the year is accomplished. Few more goals to go, and there are only a month left. Can Jino achieved all his targets by this year? Let's find out more in the next post of Jino's blog (I hope the next post has something to do with the year wish list).

How's my stomach now, I wonder...

11/11/07 - Berjaya Times Square - Lin Yu Zhong is here!!!

11 Nov 2007 @ 1111, was the official launching of Sony Cybershot Album T, and the selling of Rynn's first concert tickets in Berjaya Times Square. Early in the morning, there are many people lining up at the counter waiting for the counter to open. The first 11 customers can purchase the camera worth RM 1399 at only RM 111.10. So cheap. No wonder they start queuing since 23 hours before the sales.

I passed by Times Square at 6am. Woah!!! The queue is really bad. Around 400m i guess. I went to KLCC to get the skybridge visit tickets before purPicture_158 chasing the concert tickets. When I reach KLCC, another woah. Here is much more worse than Times Square. Whole floor is flooded with people. Haha giving up the skybridge, I went back to company to get T100 from Wai Kuan. Want to take Rynn's picture. Holding the camera properly, I walk back Times Square and queue at the long line. Ooops the line is for the camera buyer. And I bodoh bodoh queue there as well. After knowing how malu I am, I lepak alone in Times Square (9am) and the shops are yet to open.

But luckily the performances started at 10.30am. There I watched some performance, dance, interviews and of course Yu Zhong’s singing. Yu Zhong is acting in a new drama A 10-Score Smile (10分微笑) and the day also meant to promote the new drama directed by He Zhi Liang. Yu Zhong also sang a new song, the OST for his new drama. I couldn’t get the name. When it was my turn to get the concert tickets, the posters already finished!!! I was so disappointed. But those who buy camera will get a poster. Forget it, I don’t have money for a camera. I thought I could get the poster definitely.

Now I am so sad and disappointed, I headed back home before it started to rain… I wish someone is kind enough to give me a poster lol… Alamak!!! I forgot to let him sign the tickets!!! How stupid I am…
